Society6 Notebooks & Hand-Painted Bookmarks

Last month I was visiting my sister-in-law for her birthday, and I gifted her three of the Society6 journals with my designs on them. We like to make art when we’re together, so I decided to paint her bookmarks to match each journal.  They of course aren’t an exact match of my notebook designs, two of which were created digitally on my iPad, but they are close. Florals and Polka Dots

Some days, the inspiration just isn’t there, and today is one of those days. I had a very late night out last night, but it was lots of fun. So a tired day means sharing something from my artwork archives that’s never been placed in my shops: This is an acryla gouache on paper that I painted over two years ago. It’s what an artist friend of mine calls a “fantasy” painting. It’s made up from my imagination. New English Garden Fabric & Wallpaper Collection for Spring and Summer

I have spent many happy months creating this new collection of flowers, stripes and a plaid for the 2022 spring and summer seasons called English Garden. I originally created all the flowers in this collection last October in the #theydrawtober art challenge on Instagram. I created it all digitally using my iPad and the Procreate app. The prompt was English Garden, and it was right in my favorite things to paint. It was a blast creating all the different flowers.
